The service

Detik lets an event host create a private live photo gallery for a single event. Guests join through a link or QR code, take photos in their browser, and share them to the event gallery in real time.

The service is sold per event as a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions.

Accounts and host access

Hosts sign in with an email address or a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and host links private.

Anyone holding a valid host link or host token for an event can manage that event, including moderating and deleting photos. Share host access only with people you trust.

Purchases and payments

Each package (Kecil, Standard, Luxe) is a one-time payment in Malaysian Ringgit, processed by our payment provider. Prices and limits for each package are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

A purchase unlocks the package for one event. Upgrading an event to a higher package costs the difference between the two packages.

Payments are final once the event gallery has been activated, except where required by law. If something goes wrong with a payment, contact us and we will sort it out.

Fair use and event limits

Each package carries limits on guests, photos per guest, total photos, the camera window, and how long the gallery stays open after the event. These limits are enforced automatically.

Once an event is paid for, its date can only be moved within a short window, and the event name and couple frame are locked once the first photo arrives. This keeps one purchase tied to one real event.

You may not use Detik for unlawful content, harassment, or content you have no right to share. We may remove content or close events that breach these terms.

Guest content

Photos taken at an event belong to the people who took them, but by sharing a photo to an event gallery the guest grants the host and other guests of that event permission to view and download it within the gallery.

Hosts are responsible for the content shared at their events and for telling their guests that photos will be visible to everyone at the event.

Gallery availability

Galleries stay open for the period included in the purchased package, counted from the event date. After the gallery closes, photos may no longer be accessible, so hosts should download what they want to keep before then.

We aim for the service to be available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for moments missed because of network, device, or service issues.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to new purchases; material changes will be noted on this page.
